We’ve been offering fresh food, and more importantly, fresh, local seafood, since the restaurant’s inception. Our food is made from scratch, and our seafood comes from our own wholesale market. It doesn’t get any fresher.
At Harbor Docks, we’re all about families. We’ve served generations of families from around the country our own style of simply prepared Gulf seafood and sushi, and many of our employees come from two generations of the same families. |
| Located at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin, Emeril’s Coastal Italian is the first of Emeril’s Restaurants in Northwest Florida. Emeril’s Coastal Italian combines the rich and diverse tradition of Italian cuisine with the bountiful variety of nearby fresh Gulf seafood and local ingredients. | 1835. The adventure began when Leonard Destin, his father, George, and his brother, William, set out from New London, Connecticut with three ships. Unfortunately, in 1835, after running into a hurricane near Cape Canaveral, Florida, two of the ships, and Leonard’s father and brother, were lost at sea. As Leonard continued on, he came upon the beautiful shores of what would now be called "Destin." Just like that, the world`s luckiest fishing village was born.
The Destin family now honors Leonard`s love of the water by serving fresh, sustainable seafood in their family owned restaurants in three locations along the Gulf Coast including two in Destin and one in Navarre. |
